Moravia Open 2025/2026 – ITHF World Tour series
The second „World Tour“ series event in Moravia region of Czech republic. You will be welcomed in the beautiful city of Olomouc, with its famous historical centre yet vibrant with youth energy thanks to the tens of thousands of students of the second oldest university in the Czech lands.

Transportation, tips and invitations
TRANSPORT: Olomouc is very easily accessible via the main train connection from airports in Prague, Ostrava, Brno, Bratislava or Vienna in 2-4 hours.
If you would like to travel by car, parking is possible about 200 meters from the venue.
ACOMMODATION: The city has a bunch of nice hotels and motels of different quality (we’re happy to give you some recommendations).
AFTERPARTY: Once the tournament is over (and cleaned up), we will celebrate our successes at an „afterparty“. We will start with dinner and continue with a „pub crawl style“ through Olomouc’s best pubs. You are welcome to join us.?
Tournament schedule
- 7.45-8.40 registration of participants.
- 9.15-12.00 matches of basic groups.
- 12.00-13.00 lunch break.
- 13.00-17.30 performance groups.
- 17.30-21.00 Play-offs (end according to the number of individual groups).
Refreshments
Vending machines for food and drinks are located in the Fortress of Knowledge building. There is also a cafe in the next room across the hall. For lunch break, traditional czech food will be available on the spot as well as pizza, if ordered during registration.
Game Rules
Main points
- Bring your own puck or purchase on site.
- Matches are played for 5 minutes without interruption.
- Goals are valid if the puck went into the case, completely crossed the goal line and did not fly back over the goal line.
- Goals do not count after specific situations after bully..
- Goals do not count after specific game situations.
- In unclear situations, the international referee decides.

Tournament system
The format will be specified on site according to the actual number of participants.
The most likely variants are:
- Morning qualifying groups.
- Afternoon performance groups: Players from groups 1,3,5 (A1) and 2,4,6 (A2) will be included in groups A1 and A2. Lower tier groups B, C and D will be with fewer players.
- Play-off group A: 2 x 16 advancing players from group A.
- PLay-off lower groups: 4 advancing players from each of the lower groups.
